I managed to put the finishing touches on to my Dark Angels
Deathwing Terminator Squad Barachiel from the Dark Vengeance boxed set over the
August Bank Holiday. They are now finished; painted, varnished, photographed and
on display in my cabinet.
I am pleased with how they turned out and I am always
pleased to finish painting anything. These models are incredible and incredibly
detailed. But sometimes all of that detail can be a real chore to paint. I’m
glad they’re done, but I think I would like to paint something quicker and plainer
next.

The one thing I am disappointed with is how badly the photographs
I took of them came out. The pictures came out a bit dark and with a yellow
tint. Believe it or not the photographic backdrop is actually the same blue
piece of paper I used when I photographed my Imperial Knights.
